Proud mum Stephanie Davis has shared
an intimate and poignant photo of the magical moment just after beloved son
Caben-Albi was born.
The ex Hollyoaks actress uploaded
the private shot to social media on Thursday evening, telling fans it was the
moment her life changed forever.
Stephanie, 23, can be seen with her
eyes closed, looking overwhelmed with happiness and crying in joy as she
clutches her newborn son, who is wrapped in a white blanket.
She’s lying in her hospital bed with
a blood pressure gauge wrapped around her arm, while a loved one takes a photo
of the special moment.
Stephanie captioned the picture:
“The moment my life changed forever. We did it little man… and will continue
going strong together forever more.”
She added: “From this moment on.”
Fans praised and complimented the
intimate snap, with one saying: “What a beautiful photo. Momma and son,
unbreakable bond. You’ve come through so much together, so proud of what you’ve
achieved.”
Another said: “Wow, this photo has
me in tears, so happy for you. What a beautiful pic of you and both.”
A third added: “What a beautiful
picture of you both. He will love you unconditionally forever, an unbreakable
bond. Treasure these times.”
Stephanie gave birth to Caben-Albi
in January after a difficult pregnancy that saw her hospitalised at one point
in extreme pain, which was diagnosed as colitis.
The tot's dad is Steph's ex Jeremy
McConnell.
Jeremy and Stephanie met when they
both appeared in the same series of Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016;
despite Stephanie dating model Sam Reece on the outside, their romance
blossomed on camera and when the show ended they began a relationship.
But it wasn't the smoothest of
romances, with several public break ups and reconciliations, and the couple
taking swipes at each other on social media and in interviews.
In May 2016, their relationship
ended for good, then Stephanie announced she was pregnant with Jeremy's child,
although he questioned his paternity.
Ex CBB star Steph always insisted
that Jeremy, 27, was the dad and was proven right when he took a DNA test live
on This Morning.
He later said: “I'll love this
monkey with every bit of me.”
On March 16, Jeremy was arrested on
suspicion of assaulting Steph and causing criminal damage to her home.
He has denied any wrongdoing and
voluntarily attended a Liverpool police station, where he was released the same
day pending a disposal decision.
A rep for Jeremy told Mirror Online:
“Jeremy denies any wrongdoing, however he is fully cooperating with the police
in their investigations."
